Loved by Lauren is a charitable foundation created in memory of Dr. Lauren Semanchik— a beloved Veterinarian who lost her life tragically in an act of domestic violence on August 1st, 2025. Lauren’s life is most remembered by the love she so easily gave to those around her. Her love was felt by the people in her life through hugs with a little squeeze, a presence of support and companionship, and her ability to make things fun and all feel accepted. In her four legged patients, her love was witnessed in her supportive and compassionate care as well as providing end of life care to patients that were ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Semanchik’s passion to help animals was a constant theme throughout her life. Supporting our foundation ensures that we can continue Lauren’s life work of bettering the animals of the community and supporting future Veterinary professionals through academic scholarships.
